TEDxIISUniversity TEDxIISUniversity is a conference to be held at the IIS University, Jaipur; on April 7.2019 that brings together innovative thinkers from different fields in the larger community to explore ideas for our collective future. The 2019 event will be the Pioneer TEDx Event at IIS University, showcasing the theme ‘CONVERSE’ , with an endeavor to shed light on a plethora of issues which needs our community’s attention for it to evolve, as one! Ms Rakshita Singh, President , Student Council at the IIS University obtained licensing from TED to bring to the university its first ever TEDx Conference. At TEDxIISUniversity, innovative thinkers from both, the local community and diversified fields will discuss their approaches to some of humanity’s fundamental concern. As a university which hones the students with the skills to become world ready, global citizens; TEDxIISUniversity seeks to enrich that experience outside the classroom with inspiring talks and performances showcasing talents within the University and beyond. About TEDx TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
